Homes are being auctioned off in the City of Detroit starting at $1,000. Buyers however must meet certain requirements, including being a resident of the mitten, not having lost property to back taxes in the past 3 years and a requirement that the home purchased be brought up to code and lived in by the buyer within 6 months of purchase.
